FADE IN:
THE SCREEN HAS A DREAM-LIKE HAZE TO IT, AS WE BEGIN BY RECAPPING THE LAST SCENE OF THE PREVIOUS EPISODE: AS WE SEE A BURNING AND HELPLESS WARBIRD HOVERING LIKE A WOUNDED TARGET, AS THE CONDOR MOVES IN FOR THE KILL. AS WE SLOWLY BEGIN TO CLEAR THE LENS WE SEE TYLER, AS HE SLUMPS BACK AND CLOSES HIS EYES:



TYLER
Goodbye…Zoar…



AS WE FADE TO WHITE, WE HEAR ZOAR'S HEART-STOPPING SHRIEK.



ZOAR
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!




FROM THE WHITE OF THE EXPLOSION WE SEE WE ARE ALSO TRACKING AWAY FROM AN ECU OF ZOAR'S FOREHEAD.


SCENE 2
INT. ETERNOS GENERAL HOSPITAL. NIGHT.




FROM THE BRIGHT LIGHT WE TRACK TO A GURNEY, WHERE TYLER IS BEING RUSHED THROUGH THE CORRIDORS. HE IS UNCONSCIOUS, AND SEVERAL DOCTORS AND NURSES HURRY WITH HIM TO THE EMERGENCY WARD.

WE CUT TO TYLER, AS WE SEE HIM HALF-NAKED, AND PARTIALLY BANDAGED. HIS EYE IS COVERED, AS IS HIS LEFT SIDE. WE SEE TUBES RUNNING INTO HIS NOSE AND MOUTH, AS A NURSE HOLDS AN I.V. IN HIM.

WE CUT TO THE FRONT OF THE GURNEY AT TYLER'S FEET, AS IT PUSHES OPEN THE DOOR TO THE WELL-LIT OPERATING ROOM. SEVERAL DOCTORS AND NURSES LOOK DOWN AT HIM FROM THE LIGHT.



NURSE
Critical case…

DR. KEN
Get him into emergency!
NOW!

NURSE
He's not responding to stimulants…

ZOAR
I teleported him away, the moment he made contact with me.
The moment he said…goodbye….

DR. KEN
We're going to do all that we can for him, Sorceress.
Fortunately you did get him out before the missile hit.
He has some third-degree burns, and lost a lot of blood.

ZOAR
Can you save him, Doctor?

DR. KEN
I don't know, Sorceress.
But we do have our best physician on the job right now…


SCENE 3


CUT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM, AS WE IMMEDIATELY PAN AWAY FROM THE WHITE COAT OF THE SPECIALIST OVER TYLER. WE ARE CAREFUL NOT TO SHOW THE DOCTOR ALL AT ONCE. THE NURSE LOOKING UP WITH REVERENCE, AS SHE GIVES HER UPDATE TO THE SPECIALIST.


NURSE
His pulse is dropping…
We're losing him, Doctor!


NOW WE CUT TO THE SCREEN, AS THE HEART MONITOR EKG DROPS TO A BARELY READABLE LINE. THEN WE CUT BACK TO THE NURSE'S CONCERNED FACE.



NURSE
He's entering cardiac arrest!


NOW WE FINALLY CUT TO SEE WHO THE DOCTOR IS: MATTEL'S MOST FAMOUS CAREER GIRL-BARBIE HERSELF!

STERNLY SHE LOOKS AT THE SCOPE, AS SHE VIOLENTLY PUNCHES DOWN ON TYLER'S CHEST AGAIN AND AGAIN AS SHE BEGINS TO ADMINISTER CPR.


DR. BARBIE
I'm commencing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation-
Get that defibrillator over here, now!

NURSE
Yes. Doctor Barbie!




WE CUT TO DR. BARBIE GIVING HIM MOUTH-TO-MOUTH, AND CPR INTERMITTENTLY, AS THE NURSE WHEELS IN THE DEFIBRILLATOR. ZOAR WATCHES FROM THE DOOR.


DR. BARBIE
Hurry!
He's going into shock…



THE NURSE HURRIDLY SETS THE MACHINE, AND HANDS THE ELECTRODES TO THE SPECIALIST. SHE STANDS READY.


NURSE
Power level, Doctor?

DR. BARBIE
Set to level seven…
CLEAR!




AS SHE YELLS CLEAR, SHE TOUCHES THE TWO HAND ELECTRODES TO TYLER'S CHEST, AND SENDS VOLTAGE TO HIS HEART. HIS ENTIRE BODY ARCHES WITH THE ELECTRICITY THEN SLUMPS BACK AS SHE TURNS IT OFF.

DR. BARBIE GLANCES AT THE OSCILLOSCOPE AND THE FLAT LINE, AS SHE NODS TO HER ASSISTANT AGAIN.



DR. BARBIE
AGAIN…

NURSE
No response, Doctor…

DR. BARBIE
Again!

NURSE
Wait a minute…
I think we got something…
Yes, Doctor…Very faint, but we've got a heartbeat!
It's getting stronger…

DR. BARBIE
Stabilize him, get him on I. V. and monitor his pulse.
I'm going to remove the shrapnel now.
It's dangerously close to his spine.
Let me know if his vitals drop…

NURSE
He seems to be stable, Doctor…everything is out of the red.
He's even breathing on his own.

DR. BARBIE
There it is. This isn't going to be easy.
I'm going to need some light in here…

Looks like a clean penetration.
No visible nerve damage.
Now we just have to wait and see.

SCENE 4
INT. WAITING ROOM. NIGHT.




DOCTOR BARBIE COMES OUT, AND GIVES ZOAR THE NEWS. SHE SEEMS A BIT UNSURE IF SHE CAN BE CERTAIN YET.



DR. BARBIE
Sorceress?

ZOAR
Doctor Barbie!
How is he? Will he live?

DR. BARBIE
It's a little early to tell…He seems to be stable,
and I have been able to remove the shrapnel from his spine.
I won't lie to you: He's still in critical condition.

ZOAR
Thank you, Doctor…

DR. BARBIE
For the moment we've done all we can for him.
It's his fight now, Sorceress…




PAN IN PAST THE WORRIED EYES OF THE SORCERESS, AS SHE GLANCES THROUGH THE WINDOW AGAIN, AT HER HUSBAND.

NOW PAN IN ON TYLER AS HE LIES UNCONSCIOUS, AS WE SLOWLY BEGIN TO DIFFUSE THE SCREEN AND FADE TO BLACK. WE HAVE NOW ENTERED TYLER'S SUBCONSCIOUS.

WE HEAR A VOICE SPURRINGHIM ON, AS WE TURN TO SEE A MUCH YOUNGER, CHILD-VERSION OF TYLER, AND HIS FATHER, SO MANY YEARS AGO…



ROBERT TYLER
C'mon, son…

TYLER
Wha…Daddy…?

ROBERT TYLER
What did I teach you, Son?

TYLER

ROBERT TYLER

NOW WE CUT BACK TO MANY YEARS AGO, AS ROBERT TYLER LEAVES HOME TO GO TO WAR IN VIET NAM. YOUNG JOHN TYLER LOOKS UP AT HIM PLEADINGLY.




YOUNG JOHN TYLER
Daddy…please, come back…

ROBERT TLYER
You're the man of the house now, son…
You have to take care of your mother while I'm away.

TYLER
No don't go…

ROBERT TYLER
Never give up, son.
Never give in….




THEN WE CUT TO THE NIGHTMARISH BLACK AND WHITE FOOTAGE OF COLONEL ROBERT TYLER'S F-4 PHANTOM AS IT FLIES OVER VIET NAM.

AS FLAK AND TRACERS STREAK UP AT HIS PLANE, WE SEE A VAGUE DARK SHADOWY FORM SLOWLY ARISE. IT BEGINS TO OVERTAKE THE SMALL FIGHTER. THEN THE PLANE BEGINS TO TRAIL SMOKE AND BURST INTO FIRE.

THE SHADOW OVERTAKES THE PLANE, AS WE FADE IN ROBERT TYLER CHEERFULLY WAVING GOODBYE TO HIS SON. THEN HE IS GONE. CONSUMED IN BLACKNESS.



TYLER
NOOOOO!!!!




STRANGELY ENOUGH, THE SHADOW RESEMBLES AN EAGLE. TYLER TURNS AWAY, AS THE EAGLE APPRAOCHES HIM.


SCENE 5




CUT BACK TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM, AS HIS VITALS BEGIN TO FLUXUATE. THERE IS AN OFFBEAT BEEPING.

NURSE
His heart is palpitating…



DR. BARBIE
Increase his intra-venous. And watch his pulse.



NURSE
Yes, Doctor.




SLOWLY PAN IN ON TYLER'S CLOSED EYES AND DIFFUSE, AS WE HEAR THE TELL-TALE BEEPING BECOMING MORE REGULAR.


FADE OUT.


SCENE 6




CUT BACK TO THE WAITING ROOM OUTSIDE. INT. NIGHT. ZOAR SITS SOLEMNLY, AS ADAM, TEELA, AND ORKO ENTER.



ADAM
Sorceress…Are you all right? Any news yet?

ZOAR
Oh? Adam, no…nothing yet…
They've been in there for hours…but he's still listed as critical.
There's just no telling.

TEELA
We're sorry, Sorceress. We came as soon as we heard.

ZOAR
That's all right. I appreciate your being here now…

ADAM
I feel so guilty…Teela and I were having such
a good time at dinner together…while he was…

TEELA
What I don't understand is, where was He-Man during all of this?
He's always there when we need him. Why not now?

ZOAR
This isn't anybody's fault…He-Man can not be everywhere.
And even if he had…who's to say what the outcome would be?
They might have both ended up in there…

ADAM
Sorceress, I….

ZOAR
Excuse me, please. I have to get a drink of water. Let me know if you hear anything more.


THE SORCERESS STARTS OFF AROUND THE CORNER SLOWLY AS ADAM AND TEELA SIT ON THE BENCH AND GLANCE IN.




TEELA
She seems to be taking it all pretty well…

ADAM
She's always been a remarkably strong person.

TEELA
His injuries read like a grocery list…
He's not going to make it, is he?

ADAM
I don't know…

ORKO
This waiting is horrible…


THE SORCERESS HAS LEFT THE EMERGENCY WARD TO GET A DRINK OF WATER. IRONICALLY ENOUGH, SHE STANDS NEAR THE WATER FOUNTAIN OF THE MATERNITY WARD. LOOKING IN ON THE INCUBATOR FILLED WITH NEWBORN BABIES.


ZOAR
Each one, so precious, so unique.
Each one, a new hope for the future…
Oh, John…is life not short enough?

ORKO
You o.k., Sorceress?

ZOAR
Oh, Orko…




WITH THAT, TEARS FILL HER EYES, AS SHE BREAKS DOWN AND SHE WRAPS HER ARMS AROUND THE FLYING TROLLAND. SHE LEANS HER HEAD ON HIS SHOULDER AS SHE BEGINS TO WEEP. ORKO SLOWLY PUTS HIS ARM AROUND HER.


ORKO
It's all right, Sorceress.
It'll be all right.



SLOW FADE.



SCENE 7
EXT. DAVON COMMAND BUNKER. NIGHT.




WE CUT TO A LARGE SPEAKER, AS THE SIREN BLARES. WE FADE IN THE TITLE CARD OF DAVON COMMAND, 2648 SEARCHLIGHTS PIERCE THE AIR, AS FLAK CANNON FIRE INTO THE NIGHT SKY. LASERS ARE ARCING SKYWARDS, AS BOMBS FALL FROM THE DARKNESS. WE HEAR THE LOW, BASS RUMBLE OF EXPLOSIONS.

CUT TO INTERIOR OF BUNKER, AS WE SEE A LARGE TABLE SITUATION MAP OF THE NARROW GAP OF DAVON. (formerly Panama). WE SEE SQUADRONS OF FRIGHT FIGHTERS CONVERGING ON THE NARROW KEY POSITION.

SEVERAL DOZENS OF OFFICERS ON RADAR AND RADIOS TRYING TO COORDINATE ANY KIND OF DEFENCE. WE PAN IN ON ONE RADIO TECH, AS HE WATCHES HIS SCOPE.



TALON PILOT
Six more Fright Fighters from the North…
Wind Raiders Three to Seven, cut across the bunker.
Enemy Bombers are approaching…

RADIO TECH
All Talon Fighters, make for coordinate AX-7.
Incoming Doombusters, with Fright Fighter cover.


CUT TO OUTSIDE, AS THE BOMBERS FILL THE SPOTLIGHTS, AND DROP THEIR PAYLOADS INDISCRIMINATELY ON DAVON. THERE ARE SERIES OF EXPLOSIONS BOTH IN THE AIR AND ON THE GROUND. SOME GROUND GUNS FALL SILENT, AND A FEW OF THE SEARCHLIGHTS GO OUT IN THE AREAS THAT WERE HARDEST HIT.
WE THEN SEE A SQUADRON OF FRIGHT FIGHTERS BREAK OFF AND HEAD FOR THE DAVON AIR FORCE. A SMALL FORMATION OF TALONS CONVERGE ON THEM, AND BREAK THROUGH. THERE IS A BRIEF SKY-BATTLE, AS A FEW TALONS HEAD IN AFTER THE SLOW MOVING BOMBERS.

THE TALONS ARE FAST, AND BEGIN TO CHEW UP THE DOOMBUSTERS QUICKLY. TWO ARE HIT, AND FALL OUT OF FORMATION, TRAILING SMOKE. AS THE FRIGHT FIGHTERS TURN AND PURSUE, A TALON IS BLOWN OUT OF THE SKY.

BUT THE TALONS AND WIND RAIDERS MOVE IN AGAIN, AND SUCCEED IN DECIMATING THE ENEMY PLANES. THEY BEGIN TO WITHDRAW.



TRI-KLOPS
We've inflicted serious damage to Davon Base.
Enemy resistance, very strong. Request support.

TRAP-JAW
Condor One is Super-Sonic…I'll be there in six minutes.

TRI-KLOPS
Roger that, Trap-Jaw. How's that thing handling at night?

TRAP-JAW
Let's find out:
Get your people clear…I'm picking up seven enemies at one hundred miles out.
Arming Phoenix missiles.


CUT TO THE CONDOR, AS SHE FIRES SIX MISSILES AT ONCE. THE SMOKE TRAILS ARC INTO THE DARKNESS. THEN WE CUT BACK TO DAVON BASE, AS ALL BUT ONE OF THE TALONS ARE HIT, AND EXPLODE.


TRI-KLOPS
You getting sloppy, Commander? You missed one!

TRAP-JAW
No, I only have six missiles!
Think you can handle him, Tri-Klops?

TRI-KLOPS
Oh, may I?



THE FRIGHT FIGHTERS CONVERGE AND DESTROY THE ONE REMAINING VALIENT TALON FIGHTER, AS THE ENEMY CONTINUE TO PRESS THE ATTACK ON DAVON BASE. THE CONDOR ARCS OVERHEAD, AND STRAFES THE GROUND, AS IT KNOCKS OUT THE SEARCHLIGHT AND THE LAST REMAINING LASER INSTALLATIONS. THEY CONTINUE TO BOMB THE BUNKER.

CUT TO: INSIDE THE BUNKER. THE GROUND FORCES ARE PINNED DOWN. THE SUPER HEAVY GROUND CANNONS ARE SAFE ONLY BECAUSE THEY ARE BENEATH TONS OF CONCRETE. HOWEVER, WITHOUT AIR SUPPORT, THE CONDOR CAN SLOWLY WHITTLE AWAY THE BUNKER AT ITS LEISURE.



TRAP-JAW
This is pathetic…It wasn't even fair…

TRI-KLOPS
That's some machine! When do I get mine?

TRAP-JAW
Soon. Although you might not get to use it…
Inform Skeletor, it's time for the ultimatum.
Randor has no choice but to surrender…

TRI-KLOPS
I almost hope he doesn't!

TRAP-JAW
All Fright Fighters, return to base.
Condor One has the lead.



CUT BACK TO INSIDE THE BUNKER. MOST OF THE SCREENS ARE FLASHING STATIC. MOST OF THE GUNS ON THE STATUS SCREEN ARE GLOWING RED, AS ARE ALL OF THE TALONS.




DAVON COMMANDER
Is the wire to Palace Eternia still open?

RADIO TECH
Aye, Sir. They're not jamming us…

DAVON COMMANDER
That just means they WANT us to get through.
Inform King Randor. Lost ten out of ten aircraft.
We are totally defensive. Request any available aircraft, as soon as possible.
Over.

RADIO TECH
Geeze…They creamed us…


SLOW FADE.


SCENE 8
PALACE ETERNIA INT. NIGHT.




IN THE THRONE ROOM, DUNCAN IS DESPERATE TO PLAN THE NEXT AND POSSIBLY FINAL COURSE OF ACTION. AS RANDOR AND MARLANA STRUGGLE TO REMAIN IN POWER.



DUNCAN
And that was our last transmission from Davon.

KING RANDOR
How long can they last?

DUNCAN
The bunker itself is virtually impervious to any bombardment.
But our forces are essentially cut off.
We need aircraft to support the installation.

QUEEN MARLANA
Have we nothing that can out perform this…Condor?

DUNCAN
We lost an entire squadron of Talons without even firing a shot.
And the Warbird itself…


SUDDENLY THERE IS A LOUD BEEPING AS A LARGE SCREEN COMES TO LIFE. AS THE STATIC FADES, WE SEE SKELETOR.



SKELETOR
This is Skeletor calling…

DUNCAN
What do you want, you fiend?

SKELETOR
I wish to discuss your…alternatives.
I wish to send my emissaries to Palace Eternia.
To detail the terms of your surrender! HAHAHAHHAAAAAA!!!

KING RANDOR
Your army is crippled as well, Skeletor!
Do you honestly expect me to surrender Palace Eternia, to you and one airplane?

SKELETOR
Randor, be reasonable…
At the moment, yes one airplane. In six weeks…who knows?
And while we're on the subject of the late Commander Tyler's old Earth technology…E=Mc2.

QUEEN MARLANA
GASP!

SKELETOR
Yes, Marlana, my dear, you know what that means don't you?
We have unlocked the secret of the Warbird's power source and in so doing, we have placed ourselves on the threshold of a new technology!
Weapons powerful enough to destroy an entire city with a single blast!
You WILL surrender, Randor!

RANDOR
NEVER!




WITH THAT RANDOR THROWS HIS SCEPTER AT THE MONITOR, CAUSING AN EXPLOSION, AS HE SHATTERS THE SCREEN. SKELETORS FACE DISAPPEARS, AS HE FALLS BACK INTO HIS THRONE.


DUNCAN
Well, at least he doesn't know that Tyler is still alive…

KING RANDOR
Barely…

QUEEN MARLANA
He's from New York! They're stubborn! He'll live!

KING RANDOR
Perhaps we've been going about this all wrong.

DUNCAN
In what way, Sire?

KING RANDOR
If YOU had to stop the Warbird, Duncan, how would you go about doing it?
You wouldn't take it on in a Wind Raider, now would you?

DUNCAN
No, I'd try to get it while it was in…Castle Greyskull!

KING RANDOR
Precisely.
A plane as sophisticated as this Condor must require a great deal of technical support. If we can destroy its base, or better yet, the plane itself while its still on the ground…

DUNCAN
I'll get right on it, Sire!

KING RANDOR
I hope you're right about John David Tyler, my dear.
As a New Yorker…what kind of person is he?



SLOW FADE.


SCENE 9
EXT. VIET NAM MEMORIAL IN WASHINGTON D.C. DAY.


IN ANOTHER FLASHBACK SCENE, WE SEE YOUNG JOHN TYLER STANDING IN FRONT OF THE GREAT BLACK WALL. HE FINGERS HIS FATHER'S NAME, AS HE HOLDS HIS F-4 NAVY FLIGHT WINGS. AS THE BOY GLANCES AT HIS REFLECTION, HE PUTS ON THE PIN, AND HAT. FROM THE HOWLING WIND WE HEAR:


ROBERT TYLER
Never give up, Son.
Never.


THE BOY TURNS AWAY FROM THE WALL, AND SNAPS A MILITARY SALUTE TO THE WHITE HOUSE AND ITS FLUTTERING FLAG IN THE BACKGROUND. WE THEN FADE IN A SERIES OF SCENES FROM TYLER'S PAST, AS HE TRAINS FOR THE NAVY:

TYLER CLIMBING A ROPE WITH HIS HANDS ALONE.

RUNNING WITH HIS FELLOW RECRUITS.

TYLER FIGHTING KARATE-STYLE IN BOOT CAMP.

TYLER GRADUATING WITH HIS NAVY OFFICERS CLASS.


ROBERT TYLER
Never give up.


SCENE 10




CUT BACK TO THE HOSPITAL, AS WE SEE TYLER STILL UNCONSCIOUS, SA HE BEGINS TO SHIVER UNCONTROLLABLY. HIS BREATHING IS IRREGULAR.



NURSE
He's going into shock again.

DR. BARBIE
His system's suffered so much trauma, I'm surprised he's lasted this long…
Raise his core temperature. He's still fighting…

NURSE
Increasing core temperature.

DR. BARBIE
I'm changing his I.V.



SLOW FADE.


SCENE 11




CUT BACK TO TYLER, AND BLUR AS WE ENTER HIS MIND ONCE AGAIN. THIS TIME WE SEE BLACK AND WHITE FOOTAGE OF THE PERSIAN GULF WAR.


WE SEE A SLOW FLYING A-6 INTRUDER BOMBER FLYING OVER BAGHDAD CITY, 1990. THERE IS A GRAINY LOOK AS WE SEE THE SAME NEWS FOOTAGE OF THE SKYLINE AS FLAK AND TRACERS RACE INTO THE AIR, THEN CUT TO THE A-6.




TYLER
Talk to me, Mitchel…Distance from target…

MITCHEL
Roger, Tyler, I see him. Bunker dead ahead.

TYLER
Triple AAA sighted ten o' clock low!
Better make it count, buddy!
We're only gonna have time enough for one pass!

MITCHEL
Just hold her steady at this altitude…steady…NOW!



WE CUT TO THE CLASSIC CNN FOOTAGE OF THE CROSSHAIRS LINING UP ON THE SMOKESTACK OF A BUNKER, AS THE BOMB SLIDES IN. THEN BOOM!


MITCHEL
YAHOO! Scratch one Iraqi bunker!

TYLER
TRIPLE A!!!!!
HOLD ON…


BOOM! SPARKS AND SMOKE FILL THE SCREEN AS THE A-6 TAKES A HIT! AS THE SMOKE CLEARS AND BOTH PILOT AND BOMBARDIER GASP FOR AIR, WE SEE THEY ARE BOTH WOUNDED BADLY. TYLER'S LEG IS CHEWED UP, MITCHEL IS DYING.



TYLER
Mitchel!! You O.K.?

MITCHEL
Sorry, boss…
I ain't gonna make it this time…

TYLER
Yes you are!!!
Never give up!
You hear me?
Never!

MITCHEL
Never…give…up…


CUT ABCK TO TYLER AS HE RADIOS BACK TO HIS CARRIER. IT IS THE HEAD OF NIGHT, AND IS RAINING, PLUS TYLER HIMSELF IS IN PAIN. WE SEE THE FAINT BLOCK-LIKE SHAPE OF THE CARRIER IN THE DISTANCE.




TYLER
Mayday!
Mayday!
This is A-6 Intruder seven to U. S. S. America.
Prepare for emergency landing. Wounded crew aboard-

USS AMERICA
Negative Tyler-
Your plane is damaged. You'll never land her in these conditions. Ditch next to the carrier as close as possible. A rescue ship will retrieve you.

TYLER
Bombardier is wounded. He won't survive it.
Clear the flight deck. We're comin' in…


WITH THAT HE CLOSES THE CHANNEL AND DROPS HIS LANDING GEAR. WE SEE THE LIGHTS AS HE APPRAOCHES THROUGH THE RAIN. MITCHEL LOOKS UP AT HIM IN PAIN.



MITCHEL
Ditch her, Boss…I ain't gonna make it…you can.

TYLER
You're gonna live, Mitchel! I'm giving you a direct order not to give u!
UNDERSTOOD!

MITCHEL
Yes…sir.



TYLER AIMS FOR THE FLIGHT DECK, AS HE TAPS HIS BIBLE NEXT TO HIS SEAT (FROM EPISODE #4).


TYLER
Well, Old Timer, I'm countin' on you…

THEN WE FADE TO THE SAME STRANGE EAGLE IMAGE AS TYLER TURNS AWAY IN FEAR AS IT COVERS HIM IN DARKNESS.

NOW WE CUT TO TYLER STANDING IN THE RUINS OF NEW YORK CITY, AS MISSILES ARC DOWN FROM THE SKY AND ENGULF THE WORLD AROUND HIM IN NUCLEAR FIRE.

THROUGH THE BLOWTORCH WIND, HE SEES THE WRECKED STATUE OF LIBERTY, AND FALLS TO HIS KNEES, AS IN THE SKIES ABOVE, THE SHADOWY GIANT EAGLE CIRCLES OVERHEAD.

I've ordered the base temporarily abandoned. There's a fuel tanker burning back there. If that thing blows, it will take out half the airfield. We're heading for shelter.

AS SMALL EXPLOSIONS WELL UP FROM BURNING WIND RAIDERS, WE SEE SMOKE AND SMALL FIRES BURNING ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE CYLINDRICAL TANKER. HE-MAN RUSHES TO THE BURNING FUEL TRUCK, AS THE CONDOR ATTACKS THE BACKGROUND.

HE-MAN THEN PICKS UP THE BACK OF THE BURNING TANNKER, AS FUEL BEGINS TO SPILL AND IGNITE AS HE LIFTS IT. THEN AS THE CONDOR ARCS OVERHEAD AGAIN, HE-MAN HURLS THE BURNING TANKER SKYWARDS!

FLAMES QUICKLY SPREAD TURNING THE TANKER INTO A FIREBALL, AS IT ARCS TOWARD THE CONDOR. TRAP-JAW NARROWLY EVADES IT, AS IT EXPLODES BEHIND HIM.

THEN AS TRAP-JAW LOOKS DOWN AND READIES HIS LASERS, HE SEES HE-MAN DRAWING HIS SWORD. AWARE THAT THE SWORD COULD DEFLECT THE LASERS, TRAP-JAW SIMPLY SMILES AT HE-MAN, SALUTES HIM RESPECTFULLY AND HEADS THE CONDOR AWAY INTO THE DISTANCE.

ON THE SCREEN, WE SEE A GREEN OUTLINE DRAWING OF A SKELETAL WARBIRD AS TYLER ROTATES IT AND ADDS TO IT WITH HIS LIGHT PEN.
HE ELONGATES THE PLANE AND LENGTHENS THE WINGS.

WE THEN SEE THE COMPUTER DRAW THE ENGINES WITH THE DREADED NUCLEAR SYMBOL FLASHING. TYLER ENLARGES THEM AS WELL.

HE THEN FOCUSES HIS ATTENTION ON THE ADVANCED WEAPONS SYSTEM AS HE ADS NEW POWER CONDUITS AND ENLARGES HIS LASER CANNONS. WE CAN TELL BY THE LOOK IN HIS EYE THAT JOHN DAVID TYLER IS THROUGH SCREWING AROUND. THE IMAGE ROTATES 360 DEGREES.
HE THEN ACCESSES THE COMPUTER TO BEGIN FINAL ASSEMBLY..

CUT TO THE LARGE WELL-LIT CHAMBER BENEATH CASTLE GREYSKULL, AS THE LARGE MACHINES AND GLOWING FURNACES BEGIN TO SMELT METAL AND CARRY THE LARGE PIECES ON A CEILING MOUNTED CHAIN HOIST.

LARGE CROSS-SECTIONAL BEAMS CLANG TOGETHER AND ARE WELDED BY A MECHANICAL ARM IN A SHOWER OF SPARKS. WE BEGIN TO CUT TO A RAPID SERIES OF SCENES AS THE MACHINES BEGIN A SYMPHONY OF ELECTRONIC PRECISION UNDER THE GUIDING EYES OF TYLER

MOLTEN METAL IS PRESSED AND COOLED, THEN CURVED INTO SEMI-RECOGNIZABLE COMPONENTS. WE SEE A SERIES OF CROSS-SECTIONS BEING RAPIDLY WELDED INTO SKELETAL WINGS AND CARRIED ON THE HOIST. THE MECHANICAL SYMPHONY CONTINUES.

BY NOW, WE SEE LARGE SEMI-COMPLETED SECTIONS OF WINGS BEING WELDED TOGETHER, AS ARMOR PLATING IS RIVETED ON. OVERHEAD WE SEE A LARGE SECTION OF THE TURBINES BEING LOWERED INTO THE SKELETAL FUSELAGE BY CHAIN.

MOST OF THE MACHINES WORK SELF-SUFFICIENTLY, AS WE SEE TYLER IN THE FOREGROUND PROGRAMMING ONE OF THE COCKPIT COMPUTERS. ANOTHER MACHINE WORKS ON THE NEW LASERS MICRO-CIRCUITRY BY MAGNIFYING SCREEN.

AS SPARKS FLY, AND METAL IS FORGED INTO A LIVING THING, WE SEE ZOAR’S CONCERNED FACE APPEAR IN THE TINY COMPUTER SCREEN, WHERE TYLER STILL IN HIS BATHROBE WORKS.

These new 155 mm lasers are three times more powerful than her predecessors. And this new Nuclear Accelerator will give her plenty of power.

By combining my old Earth, with modern Eternian technology, this plane will be larger, stronger and faster than the original.

AFTER STARTING THE COMPUTERS, SHE SITS BACK AND WATCHES INTENTLY AS THE MACHINES RIVET, WELDS, AND COMPLETE THE SKELETAL AIRPLANE. SLOW FADE: CAREFUL NOT TO SHOW THE NEW WARBIRD ALL AT ONCE.

CASTLE GREYSKULL INT. MORNING.




AS TYLER AWAKENS, HE TIES ON HIS ROBE AND HEADS DOWNSTAIRS. AS HE ENTERS THE CHAMBER, WE SEE TOW SPOTLIGHTS GLEAMING ACROSS THE NEWLY COMPLETED WARBIRD. ROBO-ASSEMBLERS LOAD ORDINANCE AS ZOAR STANDS BEFORE THE CONTROL PANEL WITH A PROUD SMILE.
